Latino music star and entrepreneur Pitbull is already looking toward 2028, but fans will have several chances to catch Mr. Worldwide before then.
The Cuban American rapper outlined a new touring calendar at Billboard Latin Music Weeki n Miami, with European concerts beginning in November, a Latin American run planned for February 2027 and a larger world tour in development for 2028. He also announced 'Pitcoin Deluxe,' an expanded version of his latest album, for January 15, 2027, his birthday. efe.com
The deluxe release will add between 10 and 12 songs to 'Pitcoin,' which arrived October 9 with 24 tracks. The announcements give the project a schedule extending well beyond its release month, with new music arriving between international concert runs.
"So we're going to start in Portugal in early November, Spain, Italy," Pitbull said. His official schedule lists a November 2 performance at Lisbon's MEO Arena, followed by Barcelona's Sant Jordi Club on November 4 and Madrid's Movistar Arena on November 5. Additional European stops include Zürich, Milan, Lyon, Vienna, Prague and Budapest. The next chapter brings him back across the Atlantic.
"So I'm going to be down in Brazil, Colombia, Peru, Chile, Argentina, and Mexico," he said, naming the countries planned for the Latin American stretch.
He placed that run in February and said festival appearances would also be part of next year's calendar. The larger world tour is being organized for 2028. Cities, venues and ticket information for that future tour were not provided in the announcement.
Touring has become a substantial part of Pitbull's business. In its January announcement of his 2026 'I'm Back' North American tour with Lil Jon, Live Nation cited Billboard Boxscore figures showing more than $250 million in career grosses and over 4.7 million tickets sold worldwide.'Pitcoin' supplies another collection of collaborations for that expanding live repertoire. Released through Mr. 305 Records, his 14th studio album brings together KISS, Bon Jovi, Enrique Iglesias, Lil Jon, Jason Derulo, Gente de Zona, Lenier and other guests.
KISS appears on the opening track, 'Reach for the Stars,' while Bon Jovi joins 'Now or Never.' Iglesias features on 'Me Paraste el Corazón' and 'Tamo Bien,' and Derulo appears on 'Privacy.' Lil Jon participates in three selections, including 'Damn I Love Miami.'
Billboard's album coverage highlighted its unexpected collaborations, reflecting the mix of rock, pop and Latin artists assembled across the track list. But when the conversation turned to what had made that career possible, Pitbull moved away from touring plans and toward a teacher. He also mentioned Enrique Iglesias, who "opened the door and fought for me."
How ever, he credits one person for his musical career. "I'm here because a teacher believed in me," he said. "Her name is Hope Martinez."
He recalled Martinez recognizing his potential and arranging an invitation to a DMX video shoot featuring Drag-On. There, he encountered music executive Irv Gotti, whose advice he remembered as influential. The invitation itself came with a request from his teacher.
"I don't ever want anything from you in life. I just want you to thank me when you win your first award, because I believe in you," he recalled her saying.
Martinez followed through, he said, asking nothing for herself beyond having him speak to other students she taught in Los Angeles.
Pitbull connected that experience to SLAM, the public charter school network he co-founded. He said the network had 15 schools across the United States, including four in Miami, and continued to grow.
The story brought his international ambitions back to a local encounter: someone saw a future for him before the tours, the collaborations and the Mr. Worldwide name.
"She snatched me up, she looked at me, and she said, 'I believe in you,'" he recalled. "And that changed my life."
