Congratulations to Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank; the couple is celebrating eight years of marriage! To mark the milestone, the royal shared a sweet, candid video on Instagram of Brooksbank cradling the pair’s adorable baby daughter—their third child—set to The Beatles’s “Here Comes the Sun.”
“Happy 8 years married my love,” Eugenie wrote in the post caption. “What you can’t hear in this video is Jack asking our daughter if she likes her head being massaged that way... so thoughtful, caring, and best Dada there is to our 3. Couldn't have wished for a better partner.”
Eugenie and Brooksbank met through mutual friends during a ski trip in Switzerland in 2010. They have described their connection as “love at first sight,” and have proven that to be true, as they began dating after the trip and married eight years later, on October 12, 2018. Their royal wedding was held at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, the same venue where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had wed five months earlier. (Look back on the day here.)
Three years after saying “I do,” the couple welcomed their first child, son August Philip Hawke Brooksbank. Another boy, Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank, followed in 2023. And they welcomed their third child and only daughter—whom they are publicly referring to as “baby girl Brooksbank,” for now—this past August.
So while Eugenie and Brooksbank are ringing in eight years of marriage, their relationship actually began 16 years ago, and lasting love is surely something to celebrate.
