Julianne Moore couldn't be prouder over the weekend, watching her son Caleb Moore Freundlich tie the knot with his longtime partner Kibriyaá Morgan.
The actress, 65, is a proud mom-of-two: she shares her son Caleb, 28, and her daughter Liv, 24, with her husband, director Bart Freundlich, to whom she has been married since 2003.
The Oscar winner took to her Instagram page on October 12 with a video of her son and his new bride walking down the aisle, with attendees throwing flowers at them while Julianne watched behind them. The pair got married at The Roundhouse in Beacon, New York.
"This happened!!! We love love love you," she captioned the clip, with celebrity friends like Kelly Ripa, Naomi Watts, Katie Couric, Reese Witherspoon, Tracy Pollan, Leslie Mann, Jessica Capshaw, and many more inundating the star's family with congratulatory messages.
Fans left responses like: "When our kids find their perfect match it's such a blessing! Congratulations!" and: "Congratulations to the beautiful couple!" plus a "WE DID IT!" on the post from Caleb, a musician, himself.
Liv shared some photos from the event on her social media page as well, which captured her father's speech to the newlyweds, with an emotional Julianne watching on. She also included a selfie with her mom from the ceremony, with Liv wearing an olive green satin dress while Julianne wore a black satin gown with spaghetti straps and dangling diamond earrings.
Caleb and Kibriyaá first met when they both attended the same college, and began dating in 2017. They marked nine years together in 2026 on social media, with the couple announcing their engagement in August 2024.

The Still Alice star shares an extremely close relationship with her children, so much so that they'd visit her often on set when they were little. "Being a parent, there's a tremendous amount of compartmentalisation that occurs," she told The Guardian of balancing her career with motherhood. "But I liked the fact I had other responsibilities, other things to tend to."
She recalled filming The Hours with Nicole Kidman and Meryl Streep, joined by Caleb when he was just three, "and he was with me the entire time."

"One of my biggest concerns was getting home, because he wouldn't go to sleep until I was in the bed with him," Julianne remembered. "My character was very depressed, and oh, it was all very complicated. He didn’t like the fact my character was pregnant – he would knock on my belly, try to take it off."
She also commented on being questioned often about her age and becoming a mom in her late 30s and early 40s. "Often I'll be interviewed and they'll say, 'I'm sorry to ask this question, my editors said I had to…' Because people think women want to read about it."

"I think no one wants to be defined by how old they are. Children don't like being told, 'Well, you're this age, therefore X.' And when you are 30, you don't want to be told, 'You're 30, you should start worrying,' and when you're 60, you don't want people telling you, 'Don't you think we should be wrapping this up now?' It feels like a very tight way to define someone when, in fact, everybody is just having experiences of… being alive."
