New service enables seamless integration, regional-language support and source-code ownership to advance conversational banking across India
Josh Software, an engineering partner to banks and financial institutions, has expanded its services to help accelerate the adoption of AI-powered voice banking. The service enables banks to integrate conversational banking with their existing systems and digital channels, making banking services more accessible to customers across Tier II, Tier III and rural markets.
The offering combines end-to-end technology integration, intent recognition and support for Indian regional languages, allowing customers to interact with banking services naturally in their preferred language. Banks also retain ownership of the source code and resulting intellectual property, enabling greater customisation and reducing dependence on technology vendors.
Gautam Rege, Co-founder of Josh Software, said: “Banks and financial institutions are exploring voice technologies to enhance customer experience, but integrating them with existing digital infrastructure requires significant engineering expertise. Our service helps simplify and accelerate this process while giving institutions the flexibility to customise their solutions and retain ownership of the technology.”
The solution can be deployed within a bank’s environment, helping keep data within the institution’s ecosystem and supporting privacy, security and applicable regulatory requirements.
Building on its experience across core banking, lending, payments, investments and customer-facing applications, Josh Software aims to help financial institutions scale conversational banking and extend digital access to a broader customer base, advancing financial inclusion across India.
