The new members of the Public Service Commission face the uphill task of streamlining public service administration and recruitment, and restoring integrity and public trust in the body plagued by corruption and systemic bottlenecks.
The nine-member Commission, headed by Mr Vincent Seruma as Chairperson, deputised by Ms Jane Sanyu Mpangi, took the oath of office on October 16 at the Supreme Court in Kampala, and is expected to start duties soon.
