The account was relayed during a segment on Robert Marawa's show, where a speaker outlined what Komphela had communicated about the incident.
What Komphela allegedly said about the confrontation
According to the speaker, Komphela identified disrespect and racism as significant triggers for him. He reportedly believed he understood the Portuguese insults directed at him, with the speaker noting that Komphela was conversant in several languages and was confident about what was being communicated.

The confrontation did not take place immediately after the final whistle. Komphela had reportedly been overseeing an additional training session for Sundowns players who had seen limited game time during the match.
According to the account, a similar incident had occurred near half-time, and Bianchi was present as Komphela concluded supervising the session. As the two coaches moved towards the tunnel, the situation escalated into a physical confrontation.
Komphela reportedly acknowledged that he had lashed out but also conceded that a better course of action had been available to him.
Bianchi reportedly hospitalised after incident
Reports following the incident indicated that Bianchi was taken to hospital. Claims that he sustained injuries, including a blow to his private area, have not been independently verified.
It is important to note that Bianchi's account of the exchange has not been publicly established, and his version of events remains essential to a full understanding of what occurred. The allegations of racial abuse, spitting and physical aggression have not been independently confirmed.
No official statement from either club or from CAF had been issued at the time of publication to clarify the sequence of events or confirm whether formal disciplinary proceedings would follow.
