Musk Drops St. Clair’s Support After She Rejects Silence and Goes Public
Ashley St. Clair claims Elon Musk cut her monthly payments for their son from an offered $100,000 down to $20,000 once she refused an NDA and then publicly named him the father.
In a new documentary, the former conservative influencer says Musk’s team first floated $15 million up front plus $100,000 a month if she would keep the relationship and the 2024 birth of their son, Romulus, private. She turned it down, saying she could not sign in good conscience and did not want the boy treated as a secret.
After the rejection the figure fell to $40,000 a month. After she announced the child on social media in February 2025 it dropped again to $20,000, she says. Musk’s side has not responded to the film’s account. Months earlier Musk wrote on X that he was not certain of paternity yet had already sent her $2.5 million and was providing about $500,000 a year.
A later test showed a 99.9999 percent probability he is the father. The two are still fighting over custody. St. Clair presents the reductions as punishment for speaking. The sequence she describes is simpler: the biggest numbers were offered in exchange for privacy. She chose publicity instead.
