The Centre for Policy Scrutiny (CPS), a Ghanaian-based research and policy advocacy think tank, has commended The Multimedia Group for supporting the dissemination of the Centre’s research findings and policy recommendations.
A delegation from CPS, led by its Executive Director, Dr Adu Owusu Sarkodie, commended The Multimedia Group for using its platforms to disseminate the think tank’s research and policy review outcomes.
He also used the opportunity to call for deeper collaboration between the two institutions as key stakeholders in shaping policy direction and promoting good governance.
The Chief Operating Officer of The Multimedia Group, Ken Ansah, commended CPS for its outstanding work, particularly in research and policy advocacy.
He urged the think tank to stay focused on its mandate and avoid political influence in carrying out its duties.
The two institutions agreed to strengthen their collaboration to promote public education, widen the reach of policy research and encourage informed discussions on national development issues.
CPS conducts research and policy analysis to scrutinise public policies, assess government programmes, and recommend improvements to governance and development outcomes.
Its publications include Improved Access, Quality Questioned: A Report on 9 Years of Ghana’s Free Senior High School Policy, which examines the implementation and outcomes of the Free SHS programme.
The Centre has also analysed Ghana’s 2026 Budget and Mid-Year Budget Review, focusing on public finance and economic management.
The CPS Executive Director was accompanied by the Head of Corporate Affairs, Kwaku Obeng-Adjei, and the Programmes Officer, Nana Yaa Dapaah.
