The Arizona Cardinals are 1-4 to open up the 2026 NFL season, losing each of their last four games.
The team hasn't notched a home victory since Week 2 of the 2025 season, which came to an end with a disappointing 3-14 record.
Michael Bidwill has owned the Cardinals franchise for the last seven years, taking over for his late father, Bill Bidwill, in October 2019. The Bidwill family has owned the franchise since 1933, when Michael's grandfather, Charles Bidwill, purchased the team.
Many Cardinals fans feel its time for this ownership to come to an end.
Frustrated Arizona fans have crowdfunded thousands of dollars to put up multiple digital billboards along Arizona highways. The billboards read "SELL THE TEAM. This paid for by the fans. #Bidwillout."
The Cardinals organization ranked 31st on the NFL Players Association's 2026 report cards, grading "everything from ownership to treatment of families." In 2025, the franchise ranked dead last.
