In this special episode of the Outside Podcast, meet someone with a unique view of Jackson Hole: big mountain ski super hero Jim Ryan. A Vermont ski racer who made the migration west when his race career ended, Ryan became a fixture in this iconic mountain community, and not only in the ways you’d think. Sure, he’s respected by the town’s world-class athletes, but he’s just as excited to tell you about the town’s artists, musicians, and … LARPers?
By the end, you’ll be booking your own stay here at Trailborn Jackson Hole, a modern chalet resort at the base of Snow King Mountain. In winter, it has ski-in/ski-out slope access, and in the warmer months enjoy a thrilling Cowboy Coaster and treetop adventures. In fact, there’s so much to discover in every season—both in the wild and in town—that one stay might not be enough.
