By Breaking Belize News Staff (HP): A 48 year old housewife of San Narciso Street, Trial Farm Village, Orange Walk District, has reported her own son to police for theft.
The woman told Trial Farm police that around 6:00am on Thursday, October 8, she checked her kitchen and noticed a silver and black rice cooker valued at $79 and a black stainless steel pot with a glass lid valued at $50 were missing.
She said she confronted her son, who lives in the same house, and he admitted taking the items and selling them to buy drugs.
She told police she never gave him permission to take the items, and that it is not the first time things have gone missing from the home.
Police checked the home and the village but could not locate him. The matter is under investigation.
