DAR ES SALAAM: PRESIDENT Samia Suluhu Hassan is expected to grace a conference marking 70 years of registration and regulation of civil society organisations in the country,in Dar es Salaam from October 28 to 30, 2026.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs, the conference will be held under the theme “Civil Society Organisations: The Foundation of Unity, Solidarity and Our Nation’s Development.”

The ministry has urged leaders of civil society organisations across the country who wish to attend the conference to register online through the ministry’s website, www.moha.go.tz, or the RSMIS platform at www.smis.moh.go.tz.
The platforms will also provide guidance on the procedures for securing exhibitors’ pavilions at the conference.
