Dubai: The Dubai Data and Statistics Establishment (DDASE) launched the Dubai Emirate Labor Force Survey 2026 in the Digital Dubai platform, with the participation of a target sample of 5,000 families of citizens and residents.
Its aim is to provide updated statistical indicators that support labour market planning, the development of economic and social policies and decision-making.
The survey is part of the Establishment’s efforts to develop an integrated statistical system that enhances Dubai’s readiness for the economy of the future, by monitoring the main characteristics of the workforce, measuring economic participation, employment and unemployment rates, identifying the occupational structure and educational levels of workers and the economic sectors in which they work, in addition to collecting detailed data on job seekers and job search methods, which contributes to developing human capital development programs and aligning skills with labor market needs.
The survey sample was designed according to a statistical methodology that takes into account the demographic and geographical diversity and the characteristics of the target groups, to ensure the representation of different segments of society in the emirate, and to produce reliable indicators that can be relied upon in planning and anticipating future transformations.

Younis Al Nasser, CEO of the Dubai Data and Statistics Establishment at Digital Dubai, affirmed that accurate statistical data has become a fundamental pillar for developing public policies, enhancing planning efficiency, and making more flexible and proactive decisions, especially in light of the rapid developments in the digital economy and artificial intelligence.
He explained that the survey is part of a comprehensive vision to provide an accurate and up-to-date picture of Dubai's labor market, enabling decision-makers to understand economic and social transformations, measure the impact of policies, and identify future needs. He added that the survey results will contribute to achieving the objectives of Dubai's economic agenda, D33. The foundation called on families and individuals included in the survey to cooperate with the teams and provide the required information accurately, emphasising that community participation plays a pivotal role in enhancing the reliability of the results and their ability to reflect the reality of the labor market.
