Jenna Ortega attended the “Klara and the Sun” photo call at the Corinthia Hotel in London, ahead of the movie’s premiere at the 2026 BFI London Film Festival on Wednesday. The actress followed her go-to outfit formula for the appearance: a floor-length dress with a sky-high platform heel.
Standing at 5 foot, 1 inch, the “Wednesday” star often relies on a platform heel to wear long gowns on the red carpet. This time around, she added a youthful look to a classic dress silhouette and paired a Calvin Klein spring 2027 design with Christian Louboutin‘s Jenna Booties in black.
The dress featured a color-blocked top with bright yellow sleeves, a white bodice and a black high-waisted, floor-length skirt. The skirt obscured her shoes for the most part, but they were visible as she walked and moved around during the photos thanks to a slit in the back.
The new Jenna Booties are built on a bold platform and crowned with a dramatic 150mm stacked heel, which measures nearly six inches. The Jenna Bootie delivers a vertiginous and feminine silhouette, while still being edgier than a pump or a strappy sandal.
The ankle boot features a slightly pointed, almond toe and fastens with a side zip. The silhouette has a leather sole revealing a glimpse of the brand’s signature Loubi red. The shoe is crafted in a rich black calf leather and features a padded insole. The shoes retail for $1,995.
Ortega has kept other platform Louboutin designs on rotation, like the Christian Louboutin Cassia Satin Pumps, the Rosalie Alta Sandals and the Nenecheritza MM Sandals to pair with her long skirts, dresses or wide-legged trousers. Since the Jenna Bootie is a new style, FN reached out to Christian Louboutin for confirmation on whether or not the booties are named after Ortega.
Ortega stars in “Klara and the Sun” as Klara, who is an artificial intelligence friend who wants nothing more than to find the perfect home. It soon meets Josie, a young woman who has a fraught relationship with her mother. But Klara’s innocent wonder and unwavering loyalty soon start to heal the family and bring some light to Josie’s complicated world. The movie is premiering at the 70th BFI London Film Festival in London, which began Oct. 8 and wraps up Sunday. See the best celebrity shoes so far at the festival below.
