Angel Reese brought a luxury look to the tunnel for Game Three of the WNBA finals, pairing Chanel and Gucci for the occasion.
While the basketball star and Reebok partner wore a look by Chanel, her shoes hailed from Gucci. She opted for the Italian house’s Donna platform sandal, a patent leather style with an open toe and slingback strap creating a minimalist upper.
The brand’s iconic horsebit in a gold-tone finish adorns the hourglass-shaped toe strap, adding metallic glamour to the style. The Donna sandal is elevated by a 25mm platform in front and 80mm stiletto heel in back.
The Gucci shoes elevated a black Chanel look featuring a cropped tank top with the house name written across it in looping script with gold sequins — a white version of this top could be seen on the Chanel spring 2022 runway. Reese’s top was paired with a long sleeve bolero shrug and a glossy croc-print leather skirt featuring a slit. Additional gold elements came in with chains draped across the waist and jewelry.
This is just Reese’s latest Gucci footwear moment in the tunnel. She arrived to Game Two of the WNBA finals wearing the brand’s white leather horsebit-adorned Vittoria pumps with a navy blue Alaïa set. For a Sept. 19 game, she wore a pencil skirt bearing the GG emblem print with cap-toe pumps showcasing the same pattern.
With Game Three on Wednesday, Reese’s team, the Atlanta Dream, took home another win against the Golden State Valkyries, bringing the best-of-seven series to 2-1. Game Four is set to take place on Saturday.
