Gamers who enjoy collecting GTA 6 cars may soon see an automotive-themed trailer premiere. A camera crew filmed several already identified vehicles with Vice City license plates in Miami. The caravan of supercars and vintage autos sped down a closed-off street.
Recently, fans spotted a group of GTA 6 cars in Miami that are expected to appear in the Rockstar Games title. Now, the studio may use the vehicles in a live-action trailer or new marketing campaign. Social media videos show a film crew recording the convoy as it drives down a local roadway.
Earlier, clips emerged of several classic cars and supercars roaming South Florida. Some have license plates that read "Vice City" and match the vehicles seen in GTA 6 trailers or screenshots. The Progen Emerus imitates the real-life McLaren Senna, while the Albany Manana resembles a vintage Cadillac Eldorado.
Courtesy of videotech, FairlyGab shared a video of the convoy cruising near Miami's Bayside Marketplace. Police officers had shut down the area to keep the streets clear. Soon, a black car with a large mounted camera appeared, followed by many of the cars identified in other parts of the city. A drone also flew above the caravan to capture an overhead perspective.
Trailer or something else?
It’s not confirmed whether Rockstar led the production or what the filming may lead to. Still, speculation is that the studio will debut a live-action trailer before or after the GTA 6 release date. Unlike the latest launch trailer or Netflix Extended Look, it could blend real-world footage with in-game visuals. Shots of the Bayside fleet would be an ideal way to transition from reality to fiction.
The result could be a shorter advertisement as part of a wider Miami marketing blitz. A giant Welcome to Vice City sign already sits atop the Kaseya Center. The NBA’s Heat, who play in the arena, will wear uniforms celebrating the title a night ahead of its November 19th launch.
Beachgoers have also noticed the sandy scene from the first GTA 6 trailer has been recreated. Umbrellas and chairs sporting Grand Theft Auto branding line the South Beach coast.
