Following a lopsided defeat to the Atlanta Hawks Friday, the Charlotte Hornets will have another opportunity to rebound Saturday, hosting the Miami Heat on the second night of a back-to-back. Miami has struggled to start the year, beginning with a winless record and a point-differential of minus 42.
Charlotte, on the other hand, is 1-1, having defeated the Brooklyn Nets Wednesday before their 47-point defeat Friday. Naz Reid has been Charlotte's highest scorer early on, averaging 18.5 points between the team's first two games. Sharpshooter Grayson Allen isn't far behind, averaging 16 points per contest. For Miami, trade acquisition Giannis Antetokounmpo has been difficult to contain, as the Greek international has scored 35 points or more in each of his first two contests.
