While on routine patrol just after midnight into the morning of Oct. 15, RNC officers observed a vehicle that had left the road on Bartlett Drive. The lone occupant was not injured.
The 49-year-old provided breath samples that were over twice the legal limit. She will appear in court at a later date for charges of impaired operation and operating over the legal limit. Her vehicle was impounded and license suspended.
The RNC continues to urge the public to report dangerous and impaired driving directly to police by calling 911. To report anonymously, contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477), or visit www.nlcrimestoppers.com.
