With all of the Week 6 games in the conference now complete, it’s time to see where things stand in our AFC power rankings going into Week 7 of the 2026 NFL season.
In this week’s power rankings, the Cleveland Browns and New England Patriots are among the teams moving up after their victories over the Baltimore Ravens and New York Jets, respectively.
On the opposite side of the spectrum, the Las Vegas Raiders are one of the teams moving backwards after they lost to the Buffalo Bills in a hard-fought contest in the late slate.
Find out where the Browns, Patriots, Raiders and the other 13 teams in the AFC land in our conference power rankings for Week 7.
16. Miami Dolphins (0-5)
Last week: 15
The Dolphins enjoyed their bye in Week 6 but are still moving down after the only team that was behind them, the Tennessee Titans, finally notched their first victory of the season. The Dolphins return in Week 7 with a matchup against the New York Jets.
15. Los Angeles Chargers (0-6)
Last week: 14
Another week, another loss for the Chargers, who continue to look like one of the most inept teams in the NFL. General manager Joe Hortiz is reportedly not interested in making any trades, but we have a feeling that’s going to change come November.

14. Tennessee Titans (1-5)
Last week: 16
Miracles do happen! The Titans have finally won a game, giving head coach Robert Saleh his first victory in Tennessee. Unfortunately, Cam Ward didn’t play any better, so there still isn’t anything to be excited about in Nashville.
13. New York Jets (2-4)
Last week: 12
The Jets fought back against the New England Patriots after falling behind by two scores in the first half, but the result was what we expected, with New York losing to New England. If there was a silver lining, it was the performance of rookie Omar Cooper Jr.

12. Houston Texans (2-4)

Last week: 13
The Texans are now winners of two straight after starting the season 0-4 and they’re starting to look more like the team we expected them to be in 2026. What’s also important is the Texans gained a game on the Jacksonville Jaguars in the AFC South.
11. Indianapolis Colts (2-4)
Last week: 11
Losing to the lowly Tennessee Titans is just about as bad as it gets for the Colts, who continue to have a major Daniel Jones problem after he tossed two more picks on Sunday. Head coach Shane Steichen said he isn’t considering about a quarterback change, but maybe he should give Anthony Richardson or Riley Leonard a look because Jones just isn’t it.

10. Cincinnati Bengals (3-2)
Last week: 10
The Bengals were off in Week 6, so they’re staying put. Cincinnati will return to action in Week 7 against the Baltimore Ravens, who might get Lamar Jackson back for the AFC North showdown.
9. Pittsburgh Steelers (4-2)
Last week: 9
The Steelers were fortunate to escape with a victory over one of the worst teams in the NFL, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, after being down by two scores in the third quarter. The defense came up huge for Pittsburgh in the fourth quarter.

8. Las Vegas Raiders (3-3)

Last week: 7
We aren’t dinging the Raiders that much because they put up a great fight against one of the best teams in the NFL, the Buffalo Bills, in Week 6. After three straight losses that have seen Kirk Cousins struggle, maybe it’s time to give Fernando Mendoza a look.
7. Baltimore Ravens (4-2)
Last week: 4
The Ravens weren’t able to overcome the loss of Lamar Jackson this time around in what was a putrid offensive performance against the Cleveland Browns. But a new week brings new hope that Baltimore’s QB1 will return for an important divisional matchup.
MORE: Baker Mayfield’s status for Week 7 remains unclear
6. Cleveland Browns (4-2)
Last week: 8
Don’t look now, but the Browns are in first place in the AFC North because of tie-breakers, but it’s a crowded situation, as both Baltimore and Pittsburgh are 4-2 and the Bengals are 3-2. Regardless, nobody could have imagined Cleveland would be in this position after six contests.
5. Denver Broncos (4-2)
Last week: 6
Another ugly win for the Broncos, but it was a win nonetheless, and it came against the Super Bowl champions from last season, the Seattle Seahawks. The Broncos have to find a way to get Bo Nix going or this team isn’t going anywhere this season.

4. Jacksonville Jaguars (4-2)

Last week: 3
The Jaguars got the Texans’ best on Sunday morning and could not come out on top after the last-second field goal from Houston. The Jags are still in fine shape, though, as the rest of the division is pathetic.
3. New England Patriots (4-2)
Last week: 5
It wasn’t pretty, but the Patriots took care of business against the Jets and kept pace with the Bills in the AFC East. It’s good to see A.J. Brown back, but the star wide receiver has to shake off the rust after some brutal drops on Sunday.

2. Buffalo Bills (5-1)
Last week: 2
The Bills kept on rolling right along despite a stiff challenge from the Raiders on Sunday. Now, the Bills enter the bye week and will hope to get DJ Moore and Ed Oliver back in Week 8, when they meet the Ravens.
Kansas City Chiefs (5-0)
Last week: 1
The Chiefs came out of the bye with a soft matchup against the abysmal Chargers and took care of business. Kenneth Walker continues to be everything Kansas City could’ve hoped for and then some. He’s a legitimate MVP candidate through six weeks.
