Norma’s Deli

This venue is one of Good Food’s 100 Essential Sydney Cafes and Bakeries of 2026.

Who says that takeaway by the beach has to be fish and chips? This bustling subterranean venue is one-stop-shop for all things Greek and Mediterranean, whether you’re after perilously overstuffed sandwiches on exemplary fresh focaccia, spanakopita that Yiayia would endorse, taramasalata on toast or house-made baklava.

Take your bounty of baked goods to go, or linger with a glass of wine from a solid, natural-heavy list. You can also buy frozen Greek favourites including a luscious moussaka to bake at home.

Good to know: Get in early or what you’re craving might already be sold out.

Good Food reviews are booked anonymously and paid independently. A restaurant can’t pay for a review or inclusion in the Good Food Guide.
