Stren & Blan Partners has appointed Marvis Oduogu and Francisca Igboanugo as Partners and members of its Board of Partners, marking a further development in the firm’s leadership structure.
Both lawyers have served on the firm’s management team, contributing to its strategic development and the growth of its practice areas. Their appointments bring their experience in taxation, corporate services, data protection and sector-specific advisory work to the Firm’s expanded partnership.
Marvis, recognised as a Highly Regarded Tax Expert by ITR World Tax for 2025/2026, advises local and international businesses on taxation, labour and employment, immigration and matters affecting the fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) sector. His practice spans advisory and contentious work, including complex issues involving business operations, workforce management and regulatory compliance.
Francisca leads the firm’s Corporate Services & Data Protection Practice Group and Health & Pharmaceutical Sector Team. Her practice covers foreign investment, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, data protection and transactional matters, with a focus on helping businesses navigate regulatory requirements while pursuing their commercial objectives. She was recently shortlisted for Most Outstanding Data Protection Officer at the PICCASO Africa Awards 2026.
The appointments come amid an increasingly complex business environment in which organisations face evolving regulatory obligations, governance expectations and operational challenges. The firm’s expanded Board brings together experience across several areas relevant to businesses operating in Nigeria and international markets.
