Sweden's weather agency, SMHI, has issued a yellow weather warning for heavy snowfall across north-western Dalarna, Jämtland, and Härjedalen.
The warning is in place from Tuesday evening through to Wednesday morning, with heavy snow expected to cause poor visibility and difficult travel conditions.
"An area of snowfall will move in from the west on Tuesday evening, spreading eastwards across the region overnight into Wednesday," SMHI stated on its website.
The snow may be heavy at times, with forecasts predicting around ten centimetres by Wednesday morning, and local areas potentially seeing up to 15 to 20 centimetres.
SMHI warns that the heavy snowfall "can cause poor visibility and make it difficult to get around, as well as traffic problems".
