The (3-1-1) New York Giants will look to remain undefeated at home this season as they take on the (1-4) New Orleans Saints on Sunday at MetLife Stadium.
With their 27-27 tie to the Washington Commanders last Sunday, the Giants are at least a game and a half ahead of every team in the NFC East. But head coach John Harbaugh knows his team cannot afford a setback against the struggling Saints.
This matchup should be one of the most exciting games of Week 6. Let’s dive into some bold predictions for Big Blue versus New Orleans.
Malik Nabers Will Have Over 150 Receiving Yards

If there were any doubts about whether Malik Nabers was fully recovered from his two knee surgeries, he erased them with his performance against the Washington Commanders. He caught 11 passes for 121 yards and a touchdown. He and Jameis Winston are steadily building a rapport, which has resulted in explosive plays over the last two games.
This week they’ll face a New Orleans defense that has yet to allow a wide receiver to have 100 yards this season. Nabers will put an end to that as he will torch their secondary and have over 150 receiving yards.
Tyrone Tracy Jr. Will Have Over 100 All-Purpose Yards

With the addition of rookie right guard Francis Mauigoa, many felt New York would have one of the best ground games in the league. But through five games, they’re averaging 109 yards per game, and their longest run of the year was 22 yards by Jaxson Dart in Week 1.
None of the team’s running backs are averaging over 3.6 yards per carry. To make matters worse, Cam Skattebo has fumbled four times. After falling out of favor with Harbaugh in the preseason due to his fumbles and failed blitz pickups, Tyrone Tracy Jr. could be poised to see an increase in his workload. Tracy is the team’s most elusive back but has just seven carries for 22 yards for the season.
In hopes of giving his ground game a spark, expect Harbaugh to turn to the 26-year-old running back to showcase his ability as a runner and receiver. This will result in his first big game of 2026, as he will have over 100 all-purpose yards.
The Defense Will Sack Tyler Shough 6 Times

Big Blue’s pass rush has finally come to life over the last two games. After only recording one sack in the first three weeks, they have seven sacks in the last two. The Saints have the 29th-ranked rushing offense in the league, so they are going to rely on their passing game with second-year quarterback Tyler Shough. Defensive coordinator Dennard Wilson is aware of this and will unleash his front seven on Shough.
New York pass rush will overwhelm the Saints’ offensive line and have their best performance to date as they will sack Shough six times.
J.J. McCarthy Will Come In For 10 Plays

J.J. McCarthy entered the game for five snaps in Week 5, ran the ball twice for two yards, and did not attempt a pass. It was his first game action as a member of the Giants, and Harbaugh indicated they’ll continue to have packages for McCarthy.
Look for the team to ramp up the 23-year-old quarterback’s activity this week. As a result, McCarthy will come in for 10 plays and attempt his first pass with the team. He could see even more action if Winston struggles.
The Offense Will Not Commit A Turnover

One of the team’s biggest issues is that they turn the ball over too frequently. They’ve committed at least one turnover in four of their five games, including five turnovers in the last two weeks.
If New York keeps being turnover-prone, it’s going to come back and bite them, as the Saints have five takeaways on the year. But on Sunday, the Giants play mistake-free football and will not commit a turnover.
