SUWON — Gyeonggi Housing & Urban Development Corporation (GH) said on the 21st that it has opened a sales office ahead of the launch of "GH biz& Gwanggyo," a public knowledge industry center being developed in the Gwanggyo new town.
The office is located on the first floor of the Gyeonggi Credit Guarantee Foundation building near Exit 4 of Gwanggyo Jungang Station on the Shinbundang Line. Starting on the 26th, GH will brief companies planning to occupy the space on the project outline, location conditions and tenant support facilities.
GH biz& Gwanggyo will be built in the area of 1322-2 Ui-dong, Yeongtong-gu, Suwon. The complex will have three basement levels and 14 floors above ground, with a total floor area of about 35,000 square meters, and is scheduled for completion in June 2029. It is a public project in which GH manages the entire process, including development, sales and leasing. A consortium led by Shindongah Construction will handle construction.
The center will provide office space for small and medium-sized enterprises and startups. Shared offices and startup support facilities will also be installed to help early-stage companies establish themselves. The site offers a pleasant working environment, with Gwanggyo History Park, an ecological stream walking trail and Gwanggyo Lake Park nearby.
Transport access is also cited as a strength. The complex sits within the station area of Gwanggyo Jungang Station on the Shinbundang Line, providing good access to Pangyo and Gangnam. Travel to major areas of the greater Seoul region is also easy via the Dongsuwon interchange. Its proximity to Ajou University, the Gyeonggi Provincial Government and the Suwon Convention Center is favorable for exchanges among academia, government and business.
In particular, its location next to Gwanggyo Techno Valley is expected to generate synergies with the Gwanggyo R&D cluster, where nano and bio companies and research institutes are concentrated.
GH biz& is GH's brand for public knowledge industry centers. The corporation completed trademark registration in May and has been applying the brand to the knowledge industry centers it develops.
The sales office operates from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on weekdays. Visitors can view a model of the complex and receive one-on-one consultations.
