Stade Brestois remain short of defensive options as they prepare to welcome OGC Nice to the Stade Francis Le Blé on Friday night.
It was hoped that, by now, club captain Brendan Chardonnet would be available for Brest. However, the centre-back remains sidelined with injury. The same goes for his centre-back partner, Raphael Le Guen. It means that the experienced duo of Gautier Lloris, brother of Hugo, and Lucas Tousart are set to start for Les Ty Zéfs.
In the absence of Chardonnet, it is Hugo Magnetti who will captain the Breton club from the midfield. Julien Lachuer has a settled side and, given positive performances (if not always results) in recent weeks, he is not expected to ring the changes tonight.
