TCRS adds Indian-inspired chicken dish to Deepavali menu
THE Chicken Rice Shop (TCRS) has introduced a limited-time Ayam Bawang Amma dish in conjunction with the Deepavali festive season, drawing inspiration from traditional Indian home cooking.
The dish features chicken served with a special onion curry sauce, combining the restaurant’s signature chicken with flavours inspired by Indian culinary traditions.
The name “Amma”, which means mother in Indian languages, reflects the dish’s inspiration from home-cooked meals traditionally prepared by mothers for family celebrations.
The promotional offering is available on its own or as part of three sharing sets: the Joyous Set for one person, the Togetherness Set for two and the Unity Set for four.
According to TCRS, the sets are designed for customers celebrating Deepavali or gathering with family and friends over a meal.
The Ayam Bawang Amma promotion runs from Oct 12 to Nov 29, 2026, at participating TCRS outlets nationwide.
