Next Securities is strengthening the chart analysis features of the mobile trading system it is developing through a tie-up with TradingView, a global financial market analysis platform.
Next Securities said on the 22nd that it had signed a partnership with TradingView to adopt the company's charting solution. Under the agreement, the brokerage plans to apply TradingView's chart library to its new mobile trading system so that investors can use a range of technical analysis tools.
TradingView is a global platform that provides prices and chart analysis functions for a variety of financial assets, including stocks, foreign exchange, digital assets and commodities. Users can track price movements in major markets such as bitcoin, the Standard & Poor's 500 index and the won-dollar exchange rate, and the platform also offers stock screening and economic calendar features.
The Advanced Charts product that Next Securities is moving to adopt supports more than 100 technical analysis indicators, chart drawing tools and settings for 12 types of candlestick displays. Investors can use indicators such as moving averages, or mark trend lines and support levels on charts to analyze share price movements. They can also switch chart types depending on the purpose of their analysis.
An official at Next Securities said the partnership is intended to create an environment in which investors can make broader use of stock charts and understand market trends through technical analysis. "By using TradingView's charting technology, we will help investors analyze markets on their own and obtain the information they need for investment decisions," the official said.
