The academy graduate, who has supported Barça since childhood, is relishing the opportunity to take part in a fixture he has watched countless times as a fan and now hopes to help his team win.

“Stay calm, have confidence in myself. I feel ready to play my first Clasico and I’m really looking forward to it.”
While speaking about his ambition, he noted, “Firstly, to play in it and win it.”
Espart also wants to embrace the atmosphere at the Spotify Camp Nou, where Barcelona will face Real Madrid in front of their home supporters.
Rather than allowing the occasion to overwhelm him, he intends to keep his attention on the football.
“It’s important to go out there feeling calm. Once you’re playing, there’s no need to overthink things,” he notes.
From Champions League debut goal to El Clasico
Espart’s preparations for the Clasico come after another major milestone in his development.
On Tuesday, he scored his first Champions League goal against Paris Saint-Germain at the Parc des Princes, capping the occasion with a goal.
The performance gave the Barcelona academy graduate another opportunity to demonstrate his potential on a major stage.
He now faces the prospect of making his first appearance in the rivalry against Real Madrid just days later.
Meanwhile, Espart will also wear Nike’s new Bright Lights Pack boots, personalised for the occasion with the inscription “The dream continues” and the date of the fixture, 25 October 2026.
