QUERÉTARO, MEXICO — Hoogendoorn, a global leader in horticultural automation, has significantly expanded its regional headquarters in Querétaro, Mexico. By doubling its previous footprint in the Terra Business Park, the company aims to bolster its support for the burgeoning Latin American horticultural market and deepen its commitment to local producers.
The expansion is a strategic response to the company’s rapid growth across the region. The new facilities provide increased workspace for Hoogendoorn’s expanding local team and feature a dedicated training zone. This new space is specifically designed to host customers and partners, facilitating knowledge sharing, technical training, and closer collaboration on large-scale projects.
Hoogendoorn has been a staple in the Mexican market since 2010, initially serving the region from the Netherlands and later from Canada. In 2014, the company established its first local office in Agropark before moving to its current location in Querétaro in 2019. Since then, it has consistently scaled its local operations, expanding its client base and technical capabilities to support complex projects throughout Mexico and the wider Latin American region.
“Despite all the uncertainty, our company continues to grow strongly, and I am proud of that,” said Peter Hendriks, CEO of Hoogendoorn. “But when I think about why we are growing, I look at the people in this room: our customers, our partners, and our colleagues. That is why we are investing in our presence here—in people who know them, understand the local conditions, and are close by when they are needed.”
Iñigo Ochoa, General Manager of Hoogendoorn Latin America, echoed these sentiments, noting that the new office is a symbol of shared success. “This new office is not only a sign of growth, but also a reflection of everything we have built together with our customers, partners, and team,” Ochoa stated. “We hope it will be a place from which we can continue to be close to our customers, learn together, share knowledge, and find better ways to work.”
The expanded headquarters was officially inaugurated on October 8 with a ribbon-cutting ceremony. The event was attended by key industry leaders, long-term clients, and strategic partners, marking a new chapter for Hoogendoorn’s mission to provide efficient, sustainable, and high-tech solutions to the global horticulture industry.
