Nigeria’s First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, has celebrated Prince Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi, Chairman of the Lagos State Governor’s Advisory Council (GAC), on his 90th birthday, describing him as an elder statesman whose life has been marked by dedicated service and commitment to national development.
In a birthday message, the First Lady joined members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), particularly in Lagos State, to honour Olusi for his contributions to politics and public service.
She described the nonagenarian as a political stalwart and father figure whose life had been defined by wisdom, humility and an unwavering commitment to the progress of Lagos State and Nigeria.
Tinubu highlighted Olusi’s long career in public service, from his early days as a councillor in the Lagos Town Council to his service in the House of Representatives and his tenure as Lagos State Commissioner for Commerce.
She also acknowledged his continued leadership as chairman of the GAC, a key advisory body within the Lagos State APC political structure.
“As you join the distinguished league of nonagenarians, I congratulate you and rejoice with your family, friends, political associates and loved ones on the celebration of your 90th birthday,” she said.
The First Lady prayed for continued good health, strength, peace and happiness for the APC chieftain.
“As you celebrate this glorious day, I pray that Almighty Allah will continually bless you with renewed strength, divine health, peace, joy and happiness,” she added.
Olusi’s 90th birthday marks a milestone in a political career spanning several decades, particularly in Lagos State, where he remains an influential figure in the APC.
