A Korean star who is publicly dating a man known to be a doctor has drawn attention by revealing how they started dating and plans to prepare for marriage.
Recently, Maeng Seung Ji posted videos titled “The Story of Dating My Boyfriend” on her personal social media account. The videos detailed their journey from the moment they first met to developing a romantic relationship.
Maeng Seung Ji confessed that she rejected her boyfriend’s repeated confessions about 20 times. Nevertheless, he continuously showed his affection, and eventually, Maeng Seung Ji opened her heart, marking the start of their relationship.
Her boyfriend’s proactive attitude continued even after they began dating. She shared an anecdote that he moved to Ilsan, where she lived, just three days after they started dating. Through this episode, Maeng Seung Ji conveyed the sincerity her boyfriend showed her.
Following the release of the videos, many responded with support for their relationship. In reply to one netizen’s comment saying “Let’s get married,” Maeng Seung Ji left an embarrassed emoji.
When another netizen asked, “Why don’t you just get married?” she answered, “Well, I didn’t really think about marriage at the time, but now it’s about time to start preparing, hehe.”
Maeng Seung Ji debuted in 2013 as a comedian from MBC’s 20th open recruitment class. Since then, she has appeared on entertainment programs such as Infinite Challenge, gaining public recognition.
