Matchday 3 of the 2026-27 UEFA Champions League has arrived. We have two of the brightest stars in Europe, Barcelona vs PSG facing off, Atletico Madrid, Manchester City and Liverpool are not to be forgotten either. Here is your preview and predictions for all nine matches on Tuesday.
UEFA Champions League Tuesday Predictions
Slavia Prague at Fenerbahce
Fenerbahce have been flying in Turkiye but looked terrible at Villa Park last week, conceding six to Aston Villa. Slavia Prague will be an easier opponent, and they are at home against the Czech leaders. Igoh Ogbu is out for Slavia, Marco Asensio misses for Fenerbahce. Fenerbahce should manage to settle themselves and score again.
Prediction: Fenerbahce 2-0
Borussia Dortmund at Sabah
Sabah at home, the toast of Azerbaijan, can they pull off a massive upset against a struggling Dortmund side? Dortmund will be without Konstantinos Karetsas and are scoreless in their last two games. Sabah has talent and should make this difficult for at least an hour.
Prediction: Dortmund 1-0
Villarreal at Liverpool
Villarreal got a result against Napoli last week, but a trip to Anfield isn’t easy. Liverpool know how to score, but defensively there’s trouble. Jeremie Frimpong, Conor Bradley and Dominik Szoboszlai will miss. Alexander Isak can be the difference maker for Liverpool though, and they can outscore a lot of teams.
Prediction: Liverpool 4-2

AEK Athens at Manchester City
if Erling Haaland can play, it’s even more of an advantage to Manchester City, if he’s still unfit, they are likely still better than AEK, a side unbeaten in Greece and fresh. Antoine Semenyo will miss two months for Manchester City but they have enough depth to sort things out.
Prediction: Manchester City 3-1
Barcelona at PSG
The two best teams in continental Europe, Barcelona move through the gears and dominate the opposition through the varied talents of Lamine Yamal, Raphinha, who will return to the starting lineup, and more. Barca will be without Eric Garcia and Jules Kounde, there’s trouble in the back.
PSG at their best are still Champions of Europe and at home, Nuno Mendes is out though, a defence also looking vulnerable, against the best attack in the world. Barcelona may not win it all this season, but doing the double, beating PSG on Tuesday, and Real Madrid on Sunday actually feels plausible right now.
Prediction: Barcelona 3-2
Bodo/Glimt at Napoli
Napoli have struggled in Europe and domestically, Massimiliano Allegri could lose his job, and there’s no David Neres and other first choice players. Bodo/Glimt at home pulled it off against Dortmund and have real momentum. They should be able to grind out a point away.
Prediction: 1-1 Draw
Atletico Madrid at Stuttgart
The depth and quality of La Liga will be tested here. Atletico Madrid have been good in Spain, and competitive in Europe through two games, Stuttgart are in bad shape in the Bundesliga, but strong in Europe to start. Stuttgart’s backline without Ameen Al-Dakhil and Dan-Axel Zagadou will invite Atletico to attack and they can come away with a point.
Prediction: 2-2 Draw
PSV at FC Porto
A fun matchup that tests the quality of the top of the Portuguese and Dutch leagues this season. Porto are hosts, and perfect domestically. PSV are missing Ricardo Pepi, Alassane Plea and Sam Lammers. Jan Bednarek returns to Porto’s backline and makes it even harder for PSV to score. Porto should shine in this one.
Prediction: FC Porto 2-1
Slovan Bratislava at Roma
Roma’s defensive disaster, a set piece letdown leading to defeat against Real Madrid. That was painful medicine to swallow, though they are favored at home against Slovan Bratislava. AS Roma have a long injury list, including Paulo Dybala, Slovan look outmatched against quality European sides, it’s still Roma as favorites, but you can’t fully trust them.
Prediction: Roma 3-1
