'To The Skies' quest walkthrough in Arc Raiders

The "To The Skies" quest in Arc Raiders is all about repairing a prototype of the new ballistic gondola extraction method, seen on the Pendola Pass map. However, you need to find one of four gondola prototype locations, and you need to get your hands on four specific Arc materials to repair it with, which can prove to be a pain.

If you're looking for the gondola prototypes or wondering where to get the Arc materials, this is a complete guide to the Arc Raiders "To The Skies" quest.

'To The Skies' quest walkthrough in Arc Raiders

There are five mandatory tasks in "To The Skies," but the third objective can be any one of four. Here is the full quest broken down:

1. Scan any crashed Arc probe.
2. Scan any Arc courier.
3. Complete any one of the following:
   1. Search for the gondola prototype near the Red Lakes.
   2. Search for the gondola prototype in the Farmlands.
   3. Search for the gondola prototype in the East Plains.
   4. Search for the gondola prototype at the top of the Dried Riverbed.
4. Install the Arc materials:
   1. Arc Performance Steel
   2. Arc Pop Trigger
   3. Arc Synthetic Resin
   4. Arc Thermo Lining
5. Activate the gondola prototype.

How to scan a crashed Arc probe and courier

Scanning a crashed Arc probe and an Arc courier is as simple as approaching them and interacting with the prompt to scan the Arc flight data. Probes are the longer devices that you'll find embedded in the ground with smoke coming out of them, while couriers are shorter and wider. They can be found on any outside map (aka any other than Stella Montis), and will often be emitting periodic beeps, so if you hear that sound, you'll find one nearby.

Where to find the four gondola prototypes

You only need to find one of these four gondola prototypes, but we've got the locations of all four to make it easy for you. However, make sure you bring the four required materials:

• Arc Performance Steel
• Arc Pop Trigger
• Arc Synthetic Resin
• Arc Thermo Lining

Red Lakes gondola prototype location

The Red Lakes gondola prototype is on Dam Battlegrounds, right next to the Red Lakes Hatch and north of the Red Lakes Balcony.

Farmlands gondola prototype location

The Farmlands gondola prototype is on Blue Gate, directly south of Olive Grove and southwest of the Ruined Homestead.

East Plains gondola prototype location

The East Plains gondola prototype is on Spaceport, a stone's throw east from the East Elevator and north of the Communications Tower.

Dried Riverbed gondola prototype location

The Dried Riverbed gondola prototype is on Riven Tides, under a bridge directly south of the Dried Riverbed and west of the Tennis Court.

How to get the Arc materials

Your best bet for getting three of these four materials is to loot the aforementioned Arc probe and courier, and if you don't get everything you need from those, seek out more. However, baron husks — the enormous Arc remains that can be found on Dam Battlegrounds, Spaceport, and Blue Gate — can also contain these materials. Just watch out for the fire trap. For Pop Triggers, you just need to kill a pop, which are those fast-moving spherical enemies that explode as soon as they get close.

Once you've installed the four Arc parts on the gondola prototype, all you need to do then is activate it and return to Apollo. He'll reward you with 8,000 XP, and three different Arc materials for your trouble.
