Buffalo Bills safety C.J. Gardner-Johnson left Monday night’s game against the Los Angeles Rams after injuring his right leg in the third quarter.
Gardner-Johnson was hurt while bringing down Rams running back Blake Corum after a 33-yard catch-and-run through the Buffalo defense. Gardner-Johnson eventually wrestled Corum to the ground.
Gardner-Johnson stayed down after the tackle and pointed toward his right leg as Bills athletic trainers came onto the field.
He eventually got up and limped to the sideline under his own power.
The Bills did not immediately announce the nature of the injury.
