The Tampa Bay Rays beat the Cleveland Guardians 7-3 in Game 6 of the ACLS, clinching a World Series berth and eliciting a confident take for the final round from manager Kevin Cash. Rays pitcher Freddy Peralta described his journey following a trade that helped him punch the World Series tickets of his teammates, including emotional leader and DH Yandy Diaz.
Diaz once again found himself in the limelight after the Game 6, as he was seen eating a large hunk of meat reserved for the grandest of celebrations: a tomahawk steak that looked straight out of the Medieval Times restaurant and dinner show chain.
He happily chowed down on the steak while flexing for the cameras as he put on a show for Rays fans everywhere.

The Rays got two runs in the second inning and one in the third inning as they began to chip away at a patchwork Guardians pitching staff led by Tim Herrin, Cade Smith and Shawn Armstrong. The Guardians’ dam began to spring a leak in the seventh inning as Junior Caminero went deep off the left-field foul pole, a two-run shot that had fans dancing in the aisles at Tropicana Stadium in St. Petersburg, Florida.
Diaz had a home run, a run scored and two runs batted in on the night as Cash’s lineup showed its resolve and strength in a winning effort. The Rays slugger appeared to predict a World Series championship through a translator after the game as he celebrated with teammates. He will almost certainly be well-fed, and well-rested enough, as the Fall Classic opens up on October 23 at American Family Field in Milwaukee.
