Cat Deeley has revealed that she is in the middle of a 'massive renovation' of her new house – after the rebuild of the £5million home she shared with her ex Patrick Kielty 'put stress on their marriage'.
The This Morning presenter, 49, split from Irish star Patrick, 55, last July and soon after the pair put their huge Hampstead home on the market mid renovation.
And now that Cat is moving on in her single life, she has revealed that she is currently building a new house but this time by herself.
She told Closer magazine: 'I'm doing a big renovation, which is a massive project, and my brother is helping me do it.
'I like doing things that scare me a little bit.
'I always feel like if an opportunity comes up or there's something life-changing that you want to do, if you feel a little bit scared and you're approaching it with a little trepidation then you should probably do it.'

She did not give any further information about where the house was.
Cat has two sons with her ex Patrick – Milo, ten, and James, eight.
Cat and Patrick happily purchased their 'forever home' in Hampstead in 2022 – a derelict 1950s house in north London which set them back £4.9million.
But with Patrick working in Ireland and Cat fronting This Morning in London, the project might have led the marriage to breaking point as Cat previously admitted to feeling 'shocked' by the magnitude of the process.
Cat previously documented the journey on social media, candidly sharing with fans the hidden stresses that can come with a huge renovation.
In a video from February 2024, Cat admitted: 'I'm not going to lie, I got a bit of a shock today. Not much house, lots of air.'
Sources previously told the Daily Mail the couple's renovation plans put 'additional stress' on the couple's marriage.
Cat documented how the 1950s property was stripped back, with ambitions to create a grand entrance hall, demolish a living room mezzanine floor and extend the bedrooms and terrace.
But soon after the split the extensive renovation project was halted because it became too large an undertaking to manage individually.

It is now on the market with Savills for £5million after they dropped the price by £250,000 this summer.
'It was with a heavy heart that Cat and Patrick decided to halt the work,' said a source close to them.
'It's heartbreaking. They put a lot of time into it and had an amazing vision not just for what the house would look like, but that their boys would grow up there.'
Pictures previously published by the Mail showed the property in an 'abandoned' state – something that may not have helped its hefty price tag.
