Kohima, Oct 21: Nagaland ADGP Renchamo P Kikon on Wednesday emphasized that the police uniform must continue to embody public trust, safety, and sacrifice. Speaking at the Police Commemoration Day parade held at the Nagaland Police Headquarters, he urged personnel to uphold the values for which their fallen colleagues gave their lives.
Kikon emphasized that the most meaningful tribute to those who made the ultimate sacrifice is for serving officers to demonstrate integrity, professionalism, and unwavering dedication to public service. He called upon the force to strengthen its commitment to crime prevention, maintaining public order, and serving citizens with compassion.
“The truest way to honour our fallen colleagues is to uphold the ideals for which they sacrificed everything,” Kikon said, reminding officers that the legacy of the fallen must guide their actions in safeguarding society.
