Named for the year Huntington was founded, the 1866 Studio is designed to bring together business guidance, financial intelligence, digital tools, and human support into a single platform for small business owners.
The operating system will provide guided workflows across financial, operational, and management needs of business owners that streamline complex work and help them move from information to intelligence to action.
Initial agentic capabilities promise to equip entrepreneurs with the tools to turn business ideas into actionable plans, navigate startup requirements, strengthen their brand, identify funding sources, enable funding readiness and plan for growth.
Vijay Konduru, head, innovation and AI products, Huntington, says: "The 1866 Studio is an AI-powered platform designed around the small business jobs to be done. As the product evolves, it’s intended to increasingly support the full range of those jobs across the business lifecycle, from turning an idea into a business to running and growing it, and ultimately preparing for succession, sale or exit."
With built-in AI agents, owners can navigate the steps required to start a business, from entity selection and registration to licensing and operational setup, while generating a customised action plan to help move from idea to launch.
Multimodal Gemini models will help owners instantly generate tailored marketing collateral, digital ad copy and social media campaigns. In addition, AI-powered agents help owners evaluate financing readiness by identifying potential gaps, explaining lender expectations, and recommending actions that can strengthen eligibility for future financing opportunities.
“Agentic AI workflows that help carry out tasks are one part of this end-to-end operating system,” Konduru adds. “Alongside them are relevant, personalized expert content and an AI assistant that helps owners both monitor their business operations and finances and manage and orchestrate daily work."
