Is everything in baseball actually about the Red Sox, even when it’s not about the Red Sox? Somehow I feel like the answer is yes.
The Milwaukee Brewers defeated the Los Angeles Dodgers last night to complete a four-game sweep of the NLCS and reach their first World Series since 1982. The first out of the game came on an outstanding play at shortstop by Mookie Betts. The first runs of the game were scored off Dustin May, who entered the game in the second inning, after Shane Drohan opened things up for the Brewers. And the Brewers comeback was powered by none other than David Hamilton, who knocked in childhood Sox fan Sal Frelick in the fifth inning, and then iced the game with a solo shot in the 9th. It’s Red Sox all the way down, just as it should be.
Use this space to talk about David Hamilton and whatever else you want and, as always, be good to one another.
