PHILADELPHIA — The injuries keep coming for the Philadelphia Eagles.
Eagles defensive tackle Jordan Davis got hurt in the fourth quarter against the Carolina Panthers on Sunday.
Davis walked gingerly off the field and was helped by trainers into the blue medical tent.
The Eagles later ruled Davis as out with an ankle injury.
Davis was having a good game with four tackles, a half-sack, a pass breakup and a quarterback hit.
This offseason, the Eagles gave Davis a three-year contract extension worth $78 million.
That deal included $65 million guaranteed, making him among the highest-paid defensive tackles in the NFL.
It would hurt to lose Davis for an extended period of time.
The Eagles were already without edge rusher Jalyx Hunt going into Sunday’s game. Edge rusher Nolan Smith then left in the first half with a concussion.
For next Monday’s matchup versus Dallas, Eagles moneyline is listed at +186 on Kalshi. Our comprehensive Kalshi review makes it easy to figure out how to use their platform.
