Notre Dame will travel to Provo, Utah and take on the BYU Cougars in a top-8 matchup, one that ESPN’s College GameDay will be in attendance for.
It’s a huge game nationally, as both teams are undefeated and the winner has a clear path to the College Football Playoff. The Irish aren’t fully healthy, as stars like safety Brauntae Johnson and linebacker Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa have missed time this fall. However, it’s not just Notre Dame dealing with injuries, the Cougars are as well.
We learned last week that starting running back LJ Martin would be out for a month, and he was confirmed that he won’t play via Jarom Jordan on social media. He also said that linebacker Isaiah Glasker would miss the game. BYU did get some good news, as nickel Canon DeVries, safety Raider Damuni and linebacker Saile Esera will be available.
This is a must watch game, as Notre Dame looks to validate its No. 2 ranking with a win over BYU.
