Patriots cornerback Christian Gonzalez said earlier this week that he would be ready to play Sunday’s game against the Jets.
He’s taken another step toward that becoming reality.
Gonzalez was upgraded to a full participant in Thursday’s practice, according to New England’s injury report.
He was listed as limited on Wednesday.
Gonzalez has missed the last two games with a shoulder injury.
The Patriots had only one other change on its lengthy injury report. Defensive tackle Cory Durden (illness) did not participate on Thursday.
Cornerback Carlton Davis (neck) and cornerback Karon Prunty (hamstring) did not participate for the second consecutive day.
Receiver A.J. Brown (ankle), offensive tackle Marcus Bryant (ankle), safety Kevin Byard (chest), offensive tackle Will Campbell (knee), cornerback Channing Canada (hamstring), linebacker Christian Elliss (chest), running back TreVeyon Henderson (ankle), linebacker Dre’Mont Jones (shoulder), cornerback Marcus Jones (ankle), offensive tackle Morgan Moses (foot), cornerback Charles Woods (shoulder), and safety Craig Woodson (shoulder) all remained limited.
Quarterback Drake Maye (right shoulder) remained full.
