Morgan Rogers has praised the chemistry of Chelsea's front three and says their variety represent a 'mismatch' for opposition defences.
Chelsea have impressed going forward under Xabi Alonso, with only Brighton and Manchester City having scored more goals in thePremier League.
Rogers has been a big part of the club's threat, after arriving from Aston Villa in a club-record deal during the summer.
The 24-year-old has four goals and an assist from seven games, and has formed an exciting connection withJoao Pedro and former Manchester City academy teammate Cole Palmer. Rogers believes the diversity of the front three has been a headache for opposition defenders.
"A lot of it is chemistry, and I think we attack and challenge defenders in completely different ways," Rogers toldchelseafc.com.
"We all want the ball in different ways. We all want different things in the game, and if they try and stop one, then the other two are going to get their joy because we're all so different.
"If you get people that are the same and want the same, once you cut that off, you're struggling. But because we all want different things, if you try to stop Cole, then it allows me and Joao more space. If you try to stop me and Joao, then Cole's going to be free as a bird to set his authority on the game.
"It’s kind of a mismatch for other teams of what to stop and how to stop it. We know that if we're all on it and we're all in the positive mindset of helping each other, that we're all going to get joy from the game."
On what he tries to bring to the Chelsea side, Rogers said his ambition is to always be creative and excite the supporters.
"I always want to be creative. I always want to attack the goal and be threatening. Even if it doesn't work, even if it doesn't come off, I know I want the defenders thinking that I've got the ability to try something or something's going to happen here.
"That's the way I've always been since I was younger. I think if someone is watching me, I'd want them to feel excited about watching the game and watching me play.
"So I try and do everything I can in the little time or whatever time I've got on the ball, and just try and make as much of a difference as possible."
