DAEJEON — Daejeon Cheonggwa, a wholesale produce company, has donated 50 million won ($35,000) to Daejeon City to help neighbors in need.
The company is the 29th member of the Honor Society for corporate donors at the Daejeon branch of the Community Chest of Korea. Including this latest gift, its cumulative donations now total 530 million won.
"We will use the funds so they can bring warm hope to neighbors in need," Daejeon Mayor Huh Tae-jung said.
