Estadi de Mestalla hosts an exciting LaLiga EA Sports clash between Valencia CF and Athletic Club this Saturday (21:00 CET), with Adrián Cordero Vega refereeing. The match marks Javier Aguirre's debut in the home dugout. Valencia head into the game desperate for points after a 2-2 draw with Racing de Santander, secured thanks to a goal from David Otorbi, left them languishing in 19th place with just five points.
Meanwhile, Edin Terzić's Athletic sit 10th with eight points and two games in hand after their match against Rayo Vallecano was postponed. Both teams are hit by absences: Valencia will be without Copete, Foulquier, Umar Sadiq, Diego López and Sergi Canós, while the Bilbao side are missing Nico Williams and Oihan Sancet. The most recent meeting went Valencia's way, with a 1-0 win at San Mamés last May.
