Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress in Ogun State, Senator Olamilekan Adeola, y known as Yayi has assured the Igbos in the state that he will run an inclusive government as they’ve always being part of his political journey.
Yayi stated this when the apex Igbo socio-cultural group, Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Ogun State Chapter,paid him a courtesy call.
President of the Ohanaeze Ndigbo, Ogun State Chapter, Eze Stephen Okorie, who led a 5-man delegation to pay a courtesy visit to Senator Adeola in Abeokuta informed Senator Adeola that the group would be conferring the chieftaincy title of “Dike Eji Eje Mba” on him.

Expressing appreciation for the gesture, Senator Adeola disclosed that while in Lagos, the Igbos equally supported his political journey, with the Eze Ndi Igbo in Lagos confer-ring on him the title of “Dike Di Ora Nma” of Lagos State.
“My brand of politics is politics of inclusion and delivery of good governance for all the people. When roads, schools, hospitals and other infrastructures are constructed, it is for the good of all and all law- abiding Nigerians are welcome to do business and make progress in Ogun State,” he said.
Among the key dignitaries in attendance during the visit were the Deputy Governorship Candidate, APC, Ogun State, Alhaja Kudirat Adegunwa-Balogun, Dr. Kunle Salako, the Minister of State for Health and Social Services, Dr. Kunle Salako, Ogun State Commis-sioner for Budget and Planning, Hon. Laolu Olabimtan, Senatorial Candidate, APC, Ogun West, Hon. Jimoh Ojugbele, and other APC candidates.
