Access to technology continues to play an important role in creating opportunities for students to learn, explore and prepare for the future.
Republic Bank reinforced its commitment to supporting education and digital learning with the official handover of 13 used Dell desktop computers to the Grenada Christian Academy, located at Pearls, St Andrew.
The equipment, which will support the school’s technology resources and provide the 130-student population with greater access to computers, comprises:
- Dell OptiPlex 7080 desktop computers
- 19-inch monitors
- Windows 10 operating system
- Keyboards and mice
The gesture forms part of Republic Bank’s ongoing efforts to support education and contribute to the development of young people across Grenada. By extending the useful life of the equipment, the bank is also helping to ensure that technology continues to serve a practical purpose within the community.
Mc Kie Griffith, Manager, Retail Services, Grenville Cluster of Republic Bank, on making the presentation said, “We are pleased to support the Grenada Christian Academy with these computers. Access to technology is an important part of the modern learning environment, and we hope that this equipment will provide students with additional opportunities to develop their digital skills, conduct research and enhance their learning experience.”

Eversley George, Principal of the Grenada Christian Academy, expressed appreciation to Republic Bank for the donation and welcomed the additional technology resources for the school’s library.
The initiative, executed under the bank’s Power to Make a Difference programme, is evidence of the bank’s commitment to making a positive difference in the communities it serves.
