A work vehicle derailed during overnight work in Kilsmo, between Katrineholm and Hallsberg. Only one track is in use, and traffic is not expected to return to normal until around 5 p.m. on Thursday.
The disruption affects, among other things, the route between Stockholm and Gothenburg. Some trains are being replaced by buses, while others are being rerouted. Travelers in Mälardalen and Bergslagen may be affected by delays and cancellations.
