Persistent back pain can turn everyday life into a struggle.

And when discomfort spreads into your legs, hips, shoulders or arms, it can be difficult to know where to turn for help.
But there is hope.

The event offers anyone suffering from back, neck, buttock or sciatica pain the chance to hear expert advice, explore treatment options and ask questions in a relaxed, informal setting.
With more than 30 years’ experience at respected spinal centres across the UK and Europe, Mr Kalyan, who practises at The Duchy Hospital in Harrogate, specialises in both spinal pain management and spinal surgery.
His philosophy? Understand the cause of the pain before deciding on treatment.
That means exploring non-surgical solutions first, including targeted exercises, posture improvements, personalised activity advice and carefully managed medication.
Spinal injections and minimally invasive procedures may also be considered where appropriate.
Mr Kalyan said: “Everyone deserves prompt pain relief, an opportunity to break free from the cycle of pain medication, and the chance to regain an active, high-quality life.
“I want people to feel informed and reassured about their options. Many spinal conditions can be managed effectively without surgery, and understanding the right pathway is often the first step towards recovery.”
During the evening, he will explain common causes of spinal pain, why symptoms sometimes appear far from the spine and how different treatments can help.
Guests will also have the opportunity to put their questions directly to him.
Places are limited, so early booking is recommended.
