Toss Securities has launched a "Market" tab that lets users check major domestic and overseas indexes, trading flows and sector moves on a single screen. The brokerage also added features to its existing AI-based "Real-Time Issues" service that explain the background and development of major news events.
Toss Securities said on the 14th that it had revamped its AI-based investment information service, strengthening both the tools that show overall market trends and the service that analyzes individual issues.
The new Market tab brings together major domestic and overseas indexes, trading flows, stock market trends and real-time market charts in one place. It automatically switches the indexes it displays according to trading hours in the Korean and U.S. markets.
An "AI Market Summary" compiles the key developments in that day's trading and updates every hour. A separate detailed report shows the reasons behind the market's moves.
Sector and individual stock movements are also presented visually. The "Stock Market Trends" section shows sector gains and losses along with individual stock movements, while the "Real-Time Market Chart" shows trading volume and rankings of the biggest gainers and losers. Trading activity by foreign and institutional investors is provided as well.
The Real-Time Issues service, launched in March this year, has been expanded from simply selecting major news items to explaining the background and context of each issue. The company added an "AI Wiki" that explains difficult economic and financial terms and an "Issue Timeline" that lays out how an issue has unfolded in chronological order.
In "AI Chat," users can ask questions about issues that interest them and receive answers based on related news articles and other sources. Toss Securities said it plans to link the Market tab, which shows overall market trends, with Real-Time Issues, which analyzes individual developments, to strengthen how investors search for investment information.
"Helping investors read market trends and set their own standards for making decisions is the direction Toss Securities is aiming for," an official at the company said. "We will use AI technology to create an investment information environment where investors can broadly understand everything from the movement of the overall market to the context behind key issues."
